Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have agreed upon a £58 million transfer agreement involving Paul Pogba, according to a report.

Pogba has become one of the world's best young midfielders since leaving Manchester United in 2012.

Pogba has yet to agree to the transfer and it is still possible for Manchester City and Chelsea to get involved.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi met with Pogba and his representatives in Monte Carlo earlier this week, though no financial package for the player was agreed.

Al-Khelaifi confirmed on Tuesday he had spoken with Pogba but admitted they would face competition for his signature. He told the French media: “Why did I talk with Pogba? Because he’s a great talent, he’s French, from Paris even. That said all the big clubs want him.”

Juve sporting director Giuseppe Marotta responded following Wednesday night’s game with Fiorentina by saying: “It was an occasional meeting. They spoke about football. We don't want to sell Paul.”

Ilkay Gundogan will not sign a new deal with Borussia Dortmund and plans to leave when his contract expires in June 2016.

Gundogan, 24, has long been linked with a move away from the Westfalentadion, with reports of a potential move to Manchester United emerging recently as he approaches the final year of his deal.

Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Inter Milan will not sign Lukas Podolski on a permanent deal.

Arsenal will receive Podolski back this summer after a six-month loan.

"I’m pleased that Podolski broke his duck, he’s scored a very important goal," he said. "He’ll go back to London at the end of his loan deal, but he’s a true professional."

Podolski wasn't featuring for Arsenal before the move.

Manchester United plans on pursuing Hugo Lloris if David de Gea departs this summer for Real Madrid.

Lloris is now 28 and wants the opportunity to play in the Champions League as Tottenham has come up short in recent years.

United remain hopeful of keeping De Gea long-term, but he's been unwilling to sign an extension.

Manchester City is preparing a £30 million bid to Arsenal for Jack Wilshere.

City will likely need to remake their midfield this summer with the impending departure of Yaya Toure and James Millner.

Wilshere has three seasons remaining on his contract with Arsenal.

When asked about their interest in Wilshere earlier this month, Arsene Wenger said: “You can imagine my answer.

"We are not in a position where we have to sell our best players.”

Paris Saint-Germain claims they will ignore bids this summer for Edinson Cavani.

Cavani has been unhappy at PSG playing out wide in Laurent Blanc's 4-3-3 formation.

Cavani has three years left on the deal he signed upon his Ligue 1 record €64 million move from Napoli in 2013.

Manchester United reportedly is preparing a €50 million bid to PSG for Cavani.

"I won't even look at it," said Nasser Al Khelaifi.

Memphis Depay has denied personally speaking to Manchester United about a transfer.

Depay was reported to have flown to Manchester to discuss a summer transfer.

"There's absolutely no truth in that," he told reporters in the Netherlands. "I haven't spoken to Manchester United."

PSV technical director Marcel Brands has said that United have contacted them about Depay and the club expects him to leave in the summer.

PSG and Liverpool have also been connected to Depay.

Jose Mourinho said that if Real Madrid is interested in purchasing Eden Hazard, it will cost £100 million per leg.

Hazard appears to prefer establishing his legacy at Chelsea rather than become another star at Real Madrid.

"I am happy here," Hazard told Sky Sports. "I play with big players and the most important thing is I want to win trophies and with this club, it is possible.

"[The] Champions League is difficult. We play against a big team, but one day I hope I can win this trophy as it is the best.

"All the big players have won the Champions League and I hope I can bring, like Didier [Drogba] did, the Champions League to Stamford Bridge."

Arsene Wenger hinted that the reasons for why Arsenal decided not to bring back Cesc Fabregas will be explained one day.

Fabregas was sold by Barcelona to Chelsea and returns to the Emirates on Sunday.

The perception was always that it was Wenger who decided not to sign Fabregas, but now the Gunners boss has suggested there is more to this story than he had previously divulged.

"We will have to discuss that one day what happened, with all the terms. It is not as clean as that," Wenger stated when asked if he alone made the call not to bring Fabregas back to Arsenal. "I cannot speak to you about that [reasons] now because that will not help us to win the game on Sunday. This is not the right time."

Manchester United is concerned David de Gea's delay in signing an extension with the club means he could ultimately reject it.

De Gea's current deal expires in 2016 and risk losing him on a free transfer in that summer.

De Gea came to United from Atletico Madrid, but he's been linked to a move to Real Madrid to replace Iker Casillas.

"It takes a long time now," Louis van Gaal said in a news conference. "So ... it can always happen. I am not the boss. I want him to stay. The player is the boss he can say yes or no. You will have to ask David de Gea not me. He has to sign. We have offered him a lot of money."
